Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan - 1/2 cup
  2. Sooji rava - 1/2 cup
  3. Maida - 1/2 cup
  4. Finely chopped tomatoes - 2
  5. Finely Chopped Onions - 1
  6. Finely chopped green chillies - 2 or 3
  7. Cumin seeds/jeera - 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil for frying
  10. Coriander leaves chopped - 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a mixing bowl and add maida, besan and sooji rava. Mix well.
  2. Add salt and cumin seeds.
  3. Add water to make a batter of slightly thick consistency.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and onions.
  5. Mix well to avoid lumps.
  6. Add Coriander leaves.
  7. Heat a tawa. Drizzle a few drops of oil. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread lightly.
  8. Cover with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes. Open the lid and cook the other side.
  9. Serve hot with any spicy chutney.
