ABOUT Paan Ice-cream RECIPE

Easy to make dessert, requires no ice-cream maker.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Non dairy whipping cream 2 cups
  2. Heavy cream (I used Amul) 1 cup
  3. Sugar powered 3/4 cup
  4. Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  5. 6 betal leaves (paan)
  6. Gulkand 3 tbsp
  7. Paan chutney 2 tsp
  8. Paan essence or peppermint oil 1tsp
  9. Rose syrup for decoration

Instructions

  1. Grind paan leaves with little water and remove the extract
  2. Add gulkand paan chutney and paan essence to the extract
  3. Mix well and keep aside (you can add few drops of green colour-optional)
  4. In a bowl take ground sugar, whipping cream, fresh heavy cream and vanilla extract
  5. Whip the mixture till soft peaks form
  6. Add the paan mixture and mix lightly with spatula
  7. Freeze the mixture for 6-7 hours
  8. Decorate with rose syrup
