Ingredients to make Cucumber Rotti with cucumber chatni

  • oil for greasing
  • For cucumber rotti:
  • 2 cups rice flour
  • salt
  • 1/2 cup Grated cucumber
  • hot water
  • For cucumber chatni:
  • 1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
  • 5 to 6 green chilli
  • Bunch of coriander leaves
  • salt
  • tamarind
  • 4 to 5 garlic
  • 1/4 cup grated cucumber

How to make Cucumber Rotti with cucumber chatni

  1. For cucumber rotti:
  2. In a bowl mix all the ingredients in the section "for cucumber rotti" and set aside for half an hour. (Cucumber has water content so add water accordingly)
  3. Then make small equal balls of the prepared mixture.
  4. Grease your fingers and a sheet with oil so that rotti doesn't stick to sheet or hands. Now roll out the rotti with your fingers and transfer it to a tawa and cook it.
  5. For cucumber Chatni:
  6. In a jar put all the ingredients (except grated cucumber) and grind to a smooth paste.
  7. Now transfer the Chatni to a bowl and now mix the grated cucumber and serve it with rotti. Top it with ghee. (I served it with mango pickle as well).
  8. Cucumber rotti and cucumber Chatni ready to eat.

Use fresh cucumber
