Crispy Maagi Sev

Ingredients to make Crispy Maagi Sev

  • 1 maagi packet with taste maker
  • 1 cup of besan
  • Red chilli powder
  • salt for taste
  • pinch of chat masala
  • carom seeds(optional)
  • sevai presser machine (chakli maker)

How to make Crispy Maagi Sev

  1. Take 1 packet of maagi and lightly roast till they turn little brown color
  2. Blend in to fine powder in blender. This was approximately 1 cup.
  3. To this add 1 cup of besan and mix
  4. Add maagi masala, red chilli powder
  5. Add chat masala and salt for taste
  6. Mix everything and make sticky dough by adding water.
  7. Grease the sevai maker with oil. Take disc with small holes. Place the dough in machine and by pressing fry in oil slowly until they turn little brown color
  8. Enjoy crispy with tea
My Tip: I used disc with smaller holes and medium holes and made thin and thick sev.
