Ingredients to make Masala maggi pancakes

  • Maggi masala noodles - 1 packet
  • Chickpea flour - 1 cup
  • Finely chopped Onion - 1 small
  • Finely chopped tomatoes - 1 small
  • garlic cloves - 4
  • Green chillies -3
  • Ginger - 1/2" inch piece
  • Rice flour - 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

How to make Masala maggi pancakes

  1. Cook Maggi masala noodles as per the instructions on the packet.
  2. Grind together green chillies, ginger and garlic.
  3. Take a bowl. Add cooked noodles and chilli-ginger-garlic paste.
  4. Add finely chopped tomatoes and onions.
  5. Add little salt as Maggi masala already contains salt.
  6. Take another bowl and add chickpea flour.
  7. Make a thick batter adding water little by little.
  8. Add rice flour to the batter and mix well to prevent lumps.
  9. Add the batter to the noodle mixture and mix well. Check for salt.
  10. Make sure the batter is semi thick.
  11. Heat a pan. Drizzle a few drops of oil and pour a ladle full of batter. Do not spread the batter too much. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes on a low flame.
  12. Once the sides of the pancake gets crisp and top is cooked, remove the pancake and transfer it to a serving plate.
  13. Serve it with any spicy chutney or keep it in between the bread slices sprinkling little dry garlic chutney.
