Ingredients to make Falahari sabji

  • Suran-100 gms
  • lauki-100 gms
  • potatoes-100 gms
  • peanuts-1 cup
  • rock salt-1 tsp
  • Black pepper-1 tsp
  • Green chilli ginger paste-1 tsp
  • lemon juice-1 tsp
  • sugar-1 tsp
  • oil-1 tbsp

How to make Falahari sabji

  1. Wash and peel all vegetables. Roast the peanuts and cool them. Grind coarsely.
  2. Grate all the vegetables.
  3. Keep a thick pan or non stick kadai on gas. Add cumin seeds when oil heats up.
  4. Now add chilli ginger paste. Saute and then add grated vegetables.
  5. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.Stir in between as this is dry preparation so chances of sticking to base are there.
  6. Now add coarsely ground peanuts, lime juice, salt, sugar and black pepper. Mix properly and cover.
  7. Cook for 3 minutes more and your stir fried vegetable is ready.
  8. You can eat this with curd or as it is. If you eat coriander in fast can garnish.

My Tip:

This is very easy to digest contrary to rest of fasting things like sabudana, potato etc and less time consuming also:-)
