Mouth melting Rice Kheer

Ingredients to make Mouth melting Rice Kheer

  • rice 1 cup
  • milk 1 ltr
  • sugar 1 cup
  • coconut 1/4 cup grated
  • cashew 20 chopped
  • almond 8 chopped
  • Raisin 10
  • cinnamon grated 1 tbsp
  • cardamom grated 1 tbsp
  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup
  • butter 1 tbsp

How to make Mouth melting Rice Kheer

  1. Wash rice and soak for 10 minutes, now put 1 cup water in the cooker on a high flame for 1 whistle, now turn off the flame
  2. Let it cool. Boil milk in a heavy pan when it boils lower the flame add rice, 3/4 rice only
  3. Now 1/4 rice put in a mixer jar grind it for 30 seconds and mix it in the pan
  4. Stir it continuously keep checking the rice, it takes around 10 to 15 minutes to cook rice then add sugar
  5. In another pan heat butter, add all the dry fruits cook for 1 minute add coconut cook for 20 seconds and turn off the flame
  6. Now add half dry fruits and coconut mixer in the kheer. Continuously stir it.
  7. Now add fresh cream and stir it for 5 minutes
  8. Turn off the flame and serve kheer garnished with rest of the dry fruits.

My Tip:

Always use new rice for Kheer if you don't have fresh cream replace it with condensed milk.
