Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For kofta---Maggi 1 packet
  2. Grated cabbage 1/2 cup
  3. Grated carrot 1/2 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Chopped green chili 1 tsp
  6. Roasted chana powder 2 tbsp
  7. Oil for frying
  8. For curry----Onion 1 small
  9. Tomatoes 4 no.
  10. Kashmiri mirch powder 1 tsp
  11. Green chili 1
  12. Ginger 1/2 inch
  13. Garlic cloves 2
  14. Melon seeds 1 tbsp
  15. Cashew nut 1 tbsp
  16. Sugar 1 tsp
  17. Cloves 2
  18. Cinnamon 1/2 stick
  19. Butter 1 tbsp
  20. ginger, garlic paste 1 tsp
  21. Kasoori methi powder 1 tbsp
  22. Coriander for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Maggi as per directed on packet, Then put in strainer to discard the excess water.
  2. Cool and mix grated cabbage, grated carrot, salt, chopped green chili and roasted chana powder, Make the kofta with the mixture then fry them golden on medium hot heat.
  3. Boil the tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, salt, red chili powder, clove, cinnamon, sugar, cashew, melon seeds, cook till the tomatoes becomes soft. Cool and blend into the smooth puree.
  4. Heat the butter in a pan add ginger, garlic paste then pour the puree cook with stirring for 8 to 10 minutes on medium hot heat.
  5. Now add fried koftas and cook for 5 minutes more, Add kasoori methi powder switch off the gas. Garnish with coriander leaves serve hot with boiled rice.
