Maggi Cheese Fritters

Ingredients to make Maggi Cheese Fritters

  • Maggi - 1 packet
  • Amul cheese slices - 3/4
  • Mixed herbs - Oregano, Basil, Rosemary,Thyme - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - a Pinch
  • Maggi masala - 1 packet
  • Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Water
  • Oil frying
  • Onions chopped - 1 small sized
  • Garlic pods chopped -2/3 pieces
  • Cornflour - 2 tspn

How to make Maggi Cheese Fritters

  1. In a pan add 1/2 tsp of oil and fry the chopped onions and garlic. Add salt , pepper and Maggi masala and add the Maggi. Crush the Maggi before adding .
  2. Fry the Maggi for about 5 -6 mins then add 1/2 cup water cover it and let it cook .
  3. When the water is soaked up and the Maggi will turn to get dried up at that moment add cheese slices, cornflour and the herbs. Cornflour acts as a binding agent later on for frying.
  4. Mix everything well and make balls out of it and then flatten in with your palms. Remember the Maggi will be hot and you might have to use water everytime for making the balls. You can give any shape to these fritters.
  5. Let the balls cool down then put it in the fridge for about 10/15 mins so the balls are set and don't break down while frying.
  6. Now in a frying pan add oil and shallow fry the maggi fritters for about 10 mins til both the sides are browned.
  7. The fritters are done serve it with french fries and ketchup or any chutney to your kids and with a cup of tea for the elders. It's very tastier. Thank you.
