Cardamom Apple Pie

Ingredients to make Cardamom Apple Pie

  • Singhade Ka Aata/ Water Caltrop flour - 250 gms
  • Un-salted Butter - 50 gms
  • castor sugar - 50 gms
  • Apple - 600 gms
  • Grain Sugar - 100 gms
  • Cardamom Powder - 1 & a 1/2 tsp
  • Singhade ka Aata/ Water Caltrop flour - 3 tbsp

How to make Cardamom Apple Pie

  1. Peel and dice the apple. Heat sugar in a pan and cook without water till golden in colour. Add apple and cardamom powder and cook.
  2. Add 3 tbsp singhada aata and let it cook till soft and cool it down
  3. Mix butter and aata with finger tip till crumbly consistency and then mix sugar. Bind the mixture with little water and keep in a bowl, wrap and chill in a refrigerator.
  4. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and line a pie dish. Fill the apple filling in the dish and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes or till done.
