Tandoori Gobhi

Ingredients to make Tandoori Gobhi

  • 1 cup thick curd
  • 15 cauliflower florets
  • 1 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • little ginger garlic paste
  • salt for taste

How to make Tandoori Gobhi

  1. Take curd in muslin cloth and hang over for about 30 mins. In this way we remove all the whey and get thick curd.
  2. Take a vessel and add water to it. Add salt and bring to boil. When water comes to boil add cauliflower florets. After 5 mins strain the water and cool the florets
  3. Remove the thick curd from the cloth and transfer to bowl.
  4. Now i have taken a cup of thick curd from above prepared whey removed yogurt and added all spices, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, tandoori masala as per measurements given in ingredient list.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste, pinch of turmeric powder and salt for taste
  6. Mix all spices with curd properly
  7. Add cauliflower florets to curd spice mixture. Add 1 tbsp oil and mix so that cauliflower florets are nicely blended with the curd and spices.
  8. After mixing properly marinate the mixture for 1 hour.You can see florets absorb the curd mixture
  9. Preheat the oven to 20 degree Celsius and transfer the florets on baking tray and bake for 25 to 30 mins.
  10. When they turn brown in color remove them. This can be served with salad
  11. Squeeze lime juice and serve hot.

My Tip:

-For extra spiciness you can even sprinkle chat masala powder -If you have some thick yogurt you can use it directly
