ABOUT Breakfast Yogurt Panna Cotta RECIPE

Panna Cottas are not just for dessert, with a few tweaks they make for a great breakfast! Reduce the sugar, add Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream, top with fruits and nuts. Voila your new favorite breakfast treat! Makes for a great “fancy brunch item” too!

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 cup : Milk
  2. 1 tsp : vanilla essence
  3. 1/4 cup : Honey
  4. 1 tbsp : Agar Agar powder
  5. 1 cup : Greek yoghurt
  6. 2 tbsp : Dried Cranberries
  7. 2 tbsp : Chopped Pecans
  8. 2 nos : Strawberries sliced
  9. Mint leaves for garnish(optional)

Instructions

  1. In a sauce pan heat milk, honey, vanilla essence. Add in agar agar powder. Stir and simmer for couple of minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl take Greek yogurt and whisk to smooth texture. To this add in the milk mixture and stir until combined.
  3. Pour the yogurt mix into glasses or cups of choice and set in the refrigerator for couple of hours or until set.
  4. Later top the set panna cotta with dried cranberries, pecans. Garnish with strawberry slices and mint leaves.
  5. Fruitfully satisfying guilt free pleasure ready to gulp. Make, chill and enjoy!
