Ingredients to make Masala dahi lobia

  • Lobia seeds 2 cup
  • Ginger green chilli paste 1 tbsp
  • Thick curd 2 cup
  • Sabzi masala 1 tsp
  • Chillies powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Zeera powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 tbsp

How to make Masala dahi lobia

  1. Soak lobia overnight
  2. In a pressure cooker add lobia, salt and cook for half an hour on low flame
  3. Strain the water
  4. In a wok take 2 tbsp oil
  5. Add ginger chilli paste and fry
  6. Add salt , chillies powder, sabzi masala, coriander powder and fry
  7. Add one tbsp curd and fry
  8. Add lobia and simmer for 15 minutes
  9. Add remaining curd
  10. Cook for two more minutes
  11. Garnish with thick curd and lemon wedge
