ABOUT Nutty Chocolaty Cookie Balls RECIPE

I wanted to incorporate nuts in my daughter's diet. She is very fussy about eating any sort of nuts. She kinds of hates them. But she just loves chocolates like any other kids do. I just had to give her nuts they are so healty for all kids. I checked that I had a few cookies available which my daughter Keesha likes. So just decided to make these for her so that she can eat them as many as she wants. And I was successful. My wife said please make these more these are so good.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 400 gms - Dark Chocolate
  2. 200 gms - mixed dry fruits like Almonds Cashew Pistachio
  3. 8 to 10 - Digestive Cookies (I used Cranberry & Oats)
  4. 50 gms - Paneer (Cottage Cheese)
  5. 100 ml - Milkmaid
  6. 3 to 4 tbsp - Cocoa Powder
  7. 100 gms - Butter
  8. 100 gms - Kellogs Chocos
  9. Sprinklers for Garnish

Instructions

  1. First lets melt the dark chocolate with the double boiler method. Its simple just take a heavy bottom pan and put some water for boiling in it. Use another bowl which can sit on top of it.
  2. Slowly you will see the chocolate begins melting and you can add butter in it once it completely melts. This will give it a nice glaze. Keep it aside to come to room temperature.
  3. Now dry roast your nuts. I took Almonds, Cashews , Pistachios , Walnuts.
  4. Now in a mixer add your cookies, roasted nuts, chocos and mix them nicely to a powder like form. You can also use a sieve to make sure there are no big chunk of nuts there. I did coz my daughter does not like nuts.
  5. Now in a bowl take the cookie and the nuts mixture and add the milkmaid, Cocoa powder, paneer (grated) and mix well.
  6. It will be like a dough form and you can make small round balls of it and keep it in the fridge for sometime. This will help you coat these in melted chocolate.
  7. Approximately after 15 minutes you can put these in your melted chocolate one by one and coat nicely. Keep it on butter paper and garnish it with sprinkles or nuts, as you want.
  8. Now keep it in fridge for about 1 hour or till the chocolate is completely set. Just enjoy these healthy Nutty Chocolaty Cookie Balls. My daughter is eating nuts now because of this and no one could make out that this had paneer in it.
