ABOUT Paneer Pakoda RECIPE

Paneer pakoda is a popular pakoda variety.They are crisp from out side and soft from inside.Theses paneer pakoda can be served as a snack. It can also be eaten with chutney or tomato ketchup.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
  2. Carom seeds (ajwain)
  3. 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  4. 1tsp dried mango powder
  5. 1 tsp coriender powder
  6. salt as per taste
  7. Oil for frying
  8. A pinch of baking soda
  9. 1 cup besan
  10. 2 pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  11. Water as required

Instructions

  1. In a deep bowl add bengal gram (besan) and all dry masala in it mix all ingredients well.
  2. Add water in a mixture to prepare a batter.
  3. Dip paneer cubes in the prepared batter mix gently.
  4. Heat oil in a non stick kadhai add paneer cubes a few at a time in the oil and deep fry on a medium flame till golden brown.
  5. Drain on a absorbent paper.
  6. Serve with chutney or ketchup.
