Golap pitha

Ingredients to make Golap pitha

  • 1cup Milk
  • 1cup flour/maida
  • 1cup sugar
  • 1cup water
  • 2cardamoms

How to make Golap pitha

  1. Boil milk and mix maida in it and prepare a soft dough
  2. Make sugar syrup and add cardamom in it for flavor.
  3. Make small balls from the dough and roll out each ball. Cut them into small rotis with a cutter in round.
  4. For 1 rose take 3 to 4 small rotis and shape it moulding it like rose petals.
  5. Deep Fry the roses in oil and soak them in sugar syrup as made and kept before fring the roses.
My Tip: Dip the fried roses in warm sugar syrup and take them out of it after some time.This will keep the roses look like fresh
