Ingredients to make Nav Ratan Korma

  • carrots chopped, 2
  • peas 1/2 cup
  • potato chopped, 1
  • Beans chopped, 1/4 cup
  • cauliflower florets, 1cup
  • Babycorn chopped, 3-4
  • onion chopped, 2
  • green chillies chopped, 2
  • ginger garlic paste 1tsp
  • curd 150gm
  • Garam masala powder 1/2tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • ghee
  • water as required
  • salt to taste
  • cardamom 2
  • cloves 2
  • cinnamon stick small
  • tej patta 1
  • almonds 18
  • cashew 18
  • Kishmish 1tsp
  • pista 3-4
  • kesar pinch
  • pineapple chopped 1/2cup

How to make Nav Ratan Korma

  1. Soak cashew and almonds 12 piece each in water for 25 mins.
  2. Peel the almonds and put in a grinder add cashew and water and grind to smooth paste.
  3. Heat ghee in a kadhai and add cardamom, cloves, tej patta and cinnamon stick and cook for few mins.
  4. Now add onions and saute for few mins. Then add ginger garlic paste, green chilli and saute and now add the nuts paste and curd and saute well.
  5. Now add turmeric and red chilli powder and saute well on low flame.
  6. Now add all the veggies, water and salt. Cook until veggies are soft. You can cover it too.
  7. Now add garam masala and switch off the flame. Stir well.
  8. Now take a fry pan and add ghee then add rest of the almonds, cashew, pista, kishmis and saute well. Now add pineapple and saffron and cook for a minute.
  9. Pour this garnishing over the korma and serve.
  10. Your delicious delicacy is ready.
