Ingredients to make Milk powder gulab jamun made with yoghurt

  • For making balls:
  • Milk powder 1 cup
  • Refined flour 1/4 cup
  • Semolina 2 tablespoons
  • Ghee 2 tablespoons
  • Baking soda a plnch
  • Curd sweet1/2 cup ( According​ to use)
  • Ghee for deep frying the balls
  • For Sugar Syrup:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 Cup water
  • saffron strands
  • Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice of half lemon for cleaning the syrup
  • Almonds sliced for garnishing

How to make Milk powder gulab jamun made with yoghurt

  1. First put water into a pan and add all ingredients of sugar syrup. Bring it a boil.
  2. When it starts boiling then put it on gas for 6 Mintues​. After this put of the gas your sugar syrup is ready.
  3. Now for making balls add milk powder , refined flour, semolina and baking soda and mix well. Add ghee and mix well. Now with the help of curd make asoft dough . And knead it well to make a smooth dough
  4. After this heat ghee in a pan. And make balls from the dough and fry it on medium flame till golden brown.
  5. When these balls become golden brown then put these into sugar syrup.
  6. Leave it for 25 mintues. After this remove from sugar syrup. Your gulab jamun are ready. Garnish with chopped almonds.
My Tip: Sugar syrup must be strictly made in same ratio means same quantity of sugar and same quantity of water.
