ABOUT Makhana and Nuts Salad RECIPE

An easy and energetic salad, that consists of ingredients full of iron, calcium and other important nutrients is a must for healthy body.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Lotus seeds (Makhana) 1 cup
  2. Almonds 2 tablespoon
  3. Raisins 2 tablespoon
  4. Peanuts 1/4 cup
  5. Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Oil 2 teaspoon
  7. Black salt 1 teaspoon
  8. Black pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan. Add 1 teaspoon oil.
  2. Add lotus seeds and roast them.
  3. Take them out in a bowl.
  4. Add another 1 teaspoon oil in pan and heat.
  5. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  6. Add almonds and peanuts and roast them.
  7. Add raisins and makhanas and switch off the gas.
  8. Add salt and pepper to it.
  9. Cool and serve!
