Ingredients to make MISHTI DOI

  • 1 liter milk
  • 10 dates (seedless)
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 4 serving glasses

How to make MISHTI DOI

  1. Take milk in a heavy bottom pan
  2. Reduce the milk to half but boiling the milk
  3. Meanwhile soak the dates in warm water for 15 to 20 minutes
  4. Grind the dates in a mixer grinder along with water
  5. Add sugar in the milk
  6. When the milk is half take it out in bowl
  7. Mix the dates paste in it
  8. Strain the milk through a sieve
  9. Add curd into it. Mix properly
  10. Pour the milk in serving glasses
  11. Place the glass on a warm place and set it for 4 hours untouched

My Tip:

Use full fat milk it will give an ultimate taste
