Ingredients to make Millet flour Cookies

  • millet flour / Bajre ka Atta 3/4 cup
  • Wheat flour / gehun ka aata 1/4 cup
  • Roasted rava / suji 1 tblspn
  • Milk powder 1 tblspn
  • Brown sugar or regular sugar 3-4 tblspn or as per taste
  • baking soda 1 pinch
  • Softened butter 1/4 cup (I used low fat Amul butter)
  • Vanilla essence 1/4 tsp

How to make Millet flour Cookies

  1. Sieve flour, rava, baking soda, milk powder for 3 times and keep aside.
  2. In a big bowl add butter and sugar. Beat till light and fluffy, add vanilla essence.
  3. Add flour mix in 2-3 batches. Mix well.
  4. Make a dough using hands. Cover the dough with cling wrap and keep it in freeze for 10 mins.
  5. Take out the dough from freeze. Roll out a 1/2 inch thickness roti. Cut into desired shape. Make holes using fork.
  6. Bake for 15 mins at 180 degree.
  7. Let it cool and enjoy with tea or coffee.
