Khamang Kakadi/Cucumber salad

Ingredients to make Khamang Kakadi/Cucumber salad

  • cucumber small 3 numbers
  • roasted groundnut powder 2 tablespoon
  • sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice 2 teaspoon
  • green chillies chopped 1 or 2 (as hot you like)
  • fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 teaspoon
  • Oil 1 teaspoon
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  • Asafoetida (hing) a pinch
  • Salt to taste

How to make Khamang Kakadi/Cucumber salad

  1. peel off cucumbers .
  2. Chopp them very finely
  3. remove water from chopped cucumber by squeezing
  4. add salt, sugar, lemon juice and roasted groundnut powder and chopped green chillies
  5. mix well
  6. for tadka Heat oil in tadka pan
  7. add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafoetida
  8. when seeds splutter add this tadka to salad
  9. mix well garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
My Tip: If you like you can add chopped mint leaves too.
