Paneer Malai Kofta

Ingredients to make Paneer Malai Kofta

  • 1 - grated half boiled medium sized potato
  • 1 - grated carrot
  • 250 grams - grated panner
  • cashew - 10
  • badam - 5
  • onion - 2
  • green chilli - 1
  • oil as required
  • sugar as per taste
  • coriander leaves/kasthuri methi for garnish
  • coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • garam masala - a pinch
  • maida - 1 to 2 tsp
  • 1/2 cup - milk

How to make Paneer Malai Kofta

  1. In a kadai, put two spoons of oil, cashews, badam, sugar, green chilies and onion.
  2. Saute well. Let it cool.
  3. Grind it into a fine paste
  4. For kofta balls:
  5. In a bowl, add the potato, carrot, paneer, salt and a pinch of garam masala and mix it well
  6. Make small balls out of it and coat it with maida.
  7. Deep fry them in the oil.
  8. In a separate kadai, add some oil and the gravy.
  9. Bring it to boil. Add milk to it
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves
  11. While serving, add the kofta balls to the gravy and serve it hot.
