Ingredients to make Yoghurt Chutney For Dosa

  • 1 Cup Curd
  • 1/4 Cup Chana Dal
  • 1/2tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4tsp Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1tsp Split Black Gram
  • 3-4 Dry Red chilies
  • 5-6 Curry Leaves
  • 1/2tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1tsp Sesame Seed Powder
  • 1/2tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2tsp Asafoetida or Hing
  • Salt to taste

How to make Yoghurt Chutney For Dosa

  1. Dry roast chana dal until they turn brown in color.
  2. Add little oil in a vessel and add mustard, cumin seeds when they splutter add split black gram and fenugreek seeds.
  3. when color changes add dry red chilies, hing and fry for few seconds.
  4. Take chana dal and all above spices in blender and blend to powder
  5. Mix this powder with yogurt just before serving and add salt.
  6. Garnish with fried curry leaves and serve with dosa.You can even add little lime juice if needed.
