Creamy, Salted, chilled makhana raita serve with stuffed paratha, poori or simple dal and rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Makhana or Fox Nut 1Cup
  2. Curd 1/2Kg
  3. Salt to taste.
  4. Black Salt 1/2 tsp
  5. Mint Powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Red Chili Powder 1tsp
  7. Roasted Cumin Powder 2tsp
  8. Hing 1/2tsp
  9. Green Chili 1tbsp
  10. Coriander Leaves 2tbsp
  11. Desi Ghee 1tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat the ghee in a pan. Dry roast the makhanas till light golden. Crush some makhana keep aside. In a bowl, whisk the curd add 1/1/2 cup water and mix well.
  2. Add all spices in curd, put the makhana and mix again. Refrigerate for 30minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves roasted cumin powder and red chili powder.
