  • 1 small ripe banana
  • Curd 4 tablespoons
  • Cashew nuts 10 (broken)
  • Split Urad Dal 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar 1/4 teaspoon
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  • Oil 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

How to make Banana pachadi / Banana raita

  1. Cut the bananas into small pieces and put in a bowl
  2. Add salt, sugar and red chilli powder
  3. Heat oil and add mustard seeds. After it splutters add cashews and urad dhal.
  4. When it turns golden brown put in the bowl
  5. Add the curd and mix well
