Mint and vegetable Raita

Ingredients to make Mint and vegetable Raita

  • curd whisked - 250 gms
  • Chopped cucumber - 1
  • Chopped onion - 1 medium
  • Chopped tomatoes (small) - 2
  • Chopped mint - 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander - 1 tsp
  • Chopped green chillies - 1-1 /2
  • salt to taste
  • jeera Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt - 1/2 tsp
  • jeera sabut - 1 tsp
  • Refined oil - 1 tsp
  • A pinch of sugar

How to make Mint and vegetable Raita

  1. Take curd and whisk it nicely.
  2. Add chopped vegetables
  3. Mix gently
  4. Add salt, spices and sugar
  5. Mix well
  6. Take a tadka pan and heat refined oil in it
  7. Add sabut jeera and let it splutter
  8. Now mix this tadka in the curd
  9. Garnish with red chilli powder and mint leaves..

My Tip:

Keep the curd chilled for better taste and refrigerate the raita before serving
