Ingredients to make Ombre mango yogurt popsicles

  • Ripe mangoes 4 medium sized or 2 large
  • Yogurt as required
  • Sugar as required

How to make Ombre mango yogurt popsicles

  1. Peel mangoes and cut pieces out of it
  2. Blend it into a smooth paste
  3. Use this mixture to fill 1/3 of the moulds
  4. In the remaining mixture add equal quantities of yogurt, sugar to taste and blend well. The consistency of this should be thinner than that of the mango pulp.. adjust using water if required
  5. Add this mixture into the moulds on top of the mango layer without disturbing it... the mould will be 2/3 filled now.. put it in the freezer
  6. Blend plain yoghurt with sugar to taste.. add water if required to adjust the consistency... it should be thinner than the mango yoghurt mixture..
  7. Use this mixture to fill the remaining part of the moulds
  8. Insert sticks and put in the freezer..
  9. Freeze overnight
  10. For easy removal run tap water over the moulds for 1-2 mins..
My Tip: Add sugar in the mango pulp if mangoes are not sweet... tap the moulds after adding the mango pulp to remove air pockets
