Ingredients to make Siddiqa's enlightening salad

  • Salad leaves broken
  • 1 carrot cut julienne
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 cucumber peeled and cut julienne
  • 1 tomato seedless cut julienne
  • 1 cup fried snack pellet (far far) any shape
  • Powdered parsley 1/2 tsp
  • 1 cup hung curd
  • Fresh chopped garlic 1 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • olive oil 1 tsp
  • White pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • 2 tbsp full tahina paste

How to make Siddiqa's enlightening salad

  1. Method for curd dressing: Mix all the ingredients with an electrical beater or else you can use a hand whisker and whisk for about 2-3 mins
  2. Now in a bowl put broken salad leaves, all the above ingredients and mix
  3. Next put the fried far far
  4. Then pour in the hung curd dressing
  5. Sprinkle on top powdered parsley

My Tip:

> Far-far is an Indian snack food composed primarily of potato starch and tinted sago. Far-far puff up instantly when deep fried >Hung curd is simply curd whose whose whey has been drained completely. >Farfar must be served at the time of serving i.e freshly fried at the time of serving. >The dressing should be chilled at the time of serving. > N.B:- After pouring the dressing do not toss. just serve it the salad topped with the dressing.
