Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Green gram dal- 1/2 cup
  2. Grated carrot- 1/2 cup
  3. Chopped cucumber- 1/2 cup
  4. Salt- as per taste
  5. Pepper- 1 tbsp
  6. Lemon juice- 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Soak the green gram dal in water for 20 to 25 minutes (till soft)
  2. Chop the cucumber
  3. Grate the carrot
  4. In a bowl add cucumber, carrot and soaked dal.
  5. Add salt and pepper.
  6. Squeeze in lime juice, mix well. Serve immediately
  7. Traditional kosambari ready to eat.
