Choco idli

Ingredients to make Choco idli

  • 2 cups - maida
  • 1 cup - coco powder
  • 1 tbsp - butter
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1 cup - refined sugar
  • 100 gms - milk
  • 1 gms - sweet soda
  • Some chocolates for decoration

How to make Choco idli

  1. Mix all ingredients properly in a bowl and keep adding little amount of milk and make a thick mixture and leave for 5 minutes.
  2. After five minutes, stir properly for 5 minutes.
  3. Take an idli maker. Put some butter in the idli moulds. Fill the moulds 1/3 with the batter.
  4. Steam for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Test with a knife. If it is not sticking in a knife, then the idli is ready.
  6. Take prepared idilis out carefully and leave to cool down for 2-3 minutes. After 2-3 minutes, remove them carefully from the idli maker and keep them on a plate to serve.
  7. Melt some chocolates to decorate the idlis.
