Bengalis love their mustard gravies be it in fish, vegetables or chicken. This goes well with eggs too. Plus this gets ready in a jiffy a total comfort food.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled eggs 4
  2. Black mustard seeds 3 tablespoon
  3. Green chilli 4
  4. Yogurt 1/2 cup
  5. Nigella seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Garlic cloves 5
  7. Onion medium size 1, chopped
  8. Mustard oil
  9. Salt per taste
  10. Sugar as per taste

Instructions

  1. Grind the mustard with 2 green chillies, a pinch of sugar, salt and little water.
  2. To a kadai add mustard oil, to that add nigella seeds.
  3. Add onion, after 1 minute is sauteing add chopped garlic and green chillies.
  4. Add mustard paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add yogurt and stir constantly to prevent it from curdling.
  6. Add salt and sugar as required.
  7. Add the eggs, turn of the flame and keep it covered.
  8. Serve hot with white rice.
