ABOUT Eggless Chocolate cake with ganache frosting (my black beauty birthday cake) RECIPE

Super moist, super yummy, mouth watering cake made first time and very easy to make at your home on any occasion. My family and friends also enjoy this cake.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 & a 1/2 cup - All purpose flour
  2. 1 cup - icing sugar (here I use Brown Sugar)
  3. 4 & a 1/2 tbsp - coca powder
  4. 4 & a 1/2 - drops vanilla extract
  5. 2 tbsp - milk powder
  6. 1 cup - Lukewarm water
  7. 5 tbsp - Oil
  8. For chocolate frosting ingredients:
  9. 170 grams - Semi sweet chocolate roughly chopped
  10. 1/2 cup - heavy whipping cream
  11. 1/2 tbsp - unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 180°C for. Grease a 9 inches pan grease with oil or butter keep aside. In a bowl mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder. Keep aside
  2. In another bowl add oil, Icing sugar, water, milk powder, vanilla extract and mix it with an electric beater until there are no lumps.
  3. Sift the dry mixture into wet mixture. Whisk in slowly with a wooden spoon. Make sure everything is incorporated well. Don't over mix.
  4. Pour the batter in a greased tin and bake it at 180°C for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out. Cool the cake.
  5. Make the ganache. Take heavy cream and butter in a pan. Turn the heat on medium. Bring the mixture just to a boil, turn off the stove.
  6. Pour the hot cream mixture into the chocolate bowl. Let it stand for 2 minutes. Keep whisking till it gets shiny, smooth and everything is incorporated well.
  7. Now put the cake ona serving plate and spread the chocolate ganache over cooled cakes or between layers of a cake and on top. Chill it in the fridge for few minutes to set.
