Instant spicy buttermilk rasam

Ingredients to make Instant spicy buttermilk rasam

  • One cup yogurt
  • Half tsp mustard seeds
  • Half tsp cumin seeds
  • One tsp roasted gram
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 dry red chillies
  • One to 2 tbsp dry desiccated coconut.
  • Little water
  • salt for taste

How to make Instant spicy buttermilk rasam

  1. Take a cup of yogurt and dilute with water according to your consistency. Add salt and mix
  2. Take cumin seeds, mustard seeds, roasted gram, dry red chillies, garlic clove, dry desiccated coconut in blender and blend to powder
  3. Now add this powder to buttermilk and mix.
  4. Take a vessel and add little oil, when oil is heated add mustard seeds, cumin, curry leaves and dry red chilli. Add this tempering to yogurt.
  5. Serve buttermilk rasam with rice.

Dilute the yogurt according to consistency you want.
