Sprouts Lajawab

Ingredients to make Sprouts Lajawab

  • 1 cup moong sprouts
  • 1 cup channa sprouts
  • 3-4 garlic pods
  • 1" ginger
  • 1 green chilli
  • Salt as per taste
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • Chat masala as per taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • One onion
  • One tomato
  • 2 cups of chopped, assorted fruits (apple, pear, pomegranate, grapes etc)
  • Shell of watermelon

How to make Sprouts Lajawab

  1. Heat pan add oil, after smoking heat, add chopped garlic, ginger and green chilli.
  2. When it turns light brown, add chopped onion, salt, saute till translucent, add chopped tomatoes
  3. After saute, add sprouts and mix well
  4. Add all dry masala and cook for 2-3 mins while stirring.
  5. Empty a half shell of watermelon by scooping flesh, leave some red part too.
  6. When sprouts mix comes at room temp, add chopped fruits
  7. Mix well, add lemon juice and adjust seasoning
  8. Now fill this in watermelon shell
  9. Its ready to relish... Enjoy
My Tip: To make sprouts soak moong and channa overnight, in morning wash drain and keep in casserole, within 24 hrs it will sprout.
