Ingredients to make Curd jantikalu (crispy curd snacks)

  • One cup rice flour
  • Approximately little less than half cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup curd
  • Sesame seeds
  • Carom seeds
  • Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt for taste
  • Cooking oil

How to make Curd jantikalu (crispy curd snacks)

  1. Take one cup of rice flour in bowl and add all purpose flour (little less than half cup)
  2. Add sesame seeds, carom seeds, red chilli powder
  3. Add little melted butter to it
  4. Mix everything and now add about 3/4 cup of curd to it
  5. Slowly add curd little by little and if needed at last add very little water and make a soft dough
  6. Grease the sevai pressure machine with oil and take dough. Use disc with large holes and by pressing fry in oil
  7. Fry till they turn little brown color
  8. Enjoy curd janthikalu as evening snack with some tea
