Spinach and pumpkin Kardi

Ingredients to make Spinach and pumpkin Kardi

  • Spinach- 1 cup shredded
  • Pumpkin diced- 3/4 cup
  • Whey- 400 ml
  • Besan- 1 teaspoon
  • Pure Ghee- 2 tablespoon
  • Kadi Patta- 7-8
  • Mustard seeds- half teaspoon
  • Green chilli- 1 seeds removed
  • Red chilli powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic- 1.5 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

How to make Spinach and pumpkin Kardi

  1. Boil pumpkin and keep aside.
  2. Saute spinach in a pan, add pumpkin and mash well
  3. Blend gram flour into the whey and add to vegetables.Add 1 green chilli. Keep stirring till it boils
  4. Add salt keep stirring for 10 minutes on low heat
  5. Take a pan add remaining ghee .Add mustard seeds, chili powder and garlic.Season spinach and pumpkin curry with it
