Ingredients to make Dahi wala Rasiya Muthia (Curd or Yogurt Recipes)

  • Leftover cooked rice one cup
  • Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
  • Besan flour 3 tbs
  • Turmeric one teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoon
  • Dhania jeera powder 2 teaspoon
  • Whole dry red chilli 1
  • Salt
  • Green chilli ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  • Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Oil one tablespoon
  • Onion 1 small chopped
  • For gravy:
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Oil 3 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds one teaspoon
  • Asafoetida 1/4 teaspoon
  • Turmeric 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Chilli ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  • Salt for taste
  • Sugar 2 teaspoon
  • Water 2 cup
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make Dahi wala Rasiya Muthia (Curd or Yogurt Recipes)

  1. Mix rice, both flours, salt, sugar, red chilli powder, turmeric, oil, chilli ginger garlic paste, onion and make a soft dough. No need of water to make dough, rice will give it enough moisture.
  2. Make small balls from the dough.
  3. In a kadai heat oil, add mustard seed for tempering.
  4. Add asafoetida, chilli ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli powder and whole dry red chilli.
  5. Add water in above tadka and allow it to boil.
  6. When water starts boiling add rice muthia in it, add remaining spices and salt cover the kadai with lid. Cook for 10 minutes .
  7. After 10 minutes add sugar and curd, cook for another 2 minutes.
  8. Hot Spicy Dahi wala Rasiya Muthia is ready to serve. Garnish with chopped coriander.
