ABOUT Khati Mithi Kadhi RECIPE

This khati mithi kadhi is from Gujarati cuisine. In Gujarat people prefer to add little sugar in their dishes. Made from curd, milk, gram flour and many spices from your kitchen. This one regular and basic recipe from my kitchen.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Curd 400 grm
  2. Milk 1 small bowl
  3. Gram flour 2 tbs
  4. Curry patta 4-5 sticks
  5. Green chilli 5-6
  6. Garlic 7-8
  7. Star anise 1
  8. Cloves 3-4
  9. Tamal patta 2
  10. Jeera 1 tsp
  11. Methi 1/2 tsp
  12. Cinnamon 1 piece
  13. Dry red chilli 2
  14. Sugar 2- 3 tbs
  15. Salt as account to your taste
  16. Water 2 glass
  17. Ghee 1 tbs
  18. Hing 3/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Keep ready all ingredients.
  2. Keep ready curd milk and water too.
  3. Keep ready sugar and salt .
  4. Now take a bowl add curd, milk, water and gram flour.
  5. Now blend it and add one more glass of water.
  6. Add salt and sugar.
  7. Now take a kadai add ghee for tadka.
  8. Now add jeera and methi for simmer.
  9. Now add cloves, cinnamon, star flower and red chilli .
  10. Now add hing.
  11. Now give tadka in kadhi and add curry patta.
  12. Now add crushed garlic and bring it to boil for 20 - 25 minute.
  13. Keep boiling on medium flame and keep watch on.
  14. After 20-25 minute, now kadhi is ready sprinkle some coriander leaves in.
  15. Serve with rice, pulav, khichdi, paratha and chapati.
