Ingredients to make Mixveggie stuffed idli khaman

  • 2 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1/2 cup sooji
  • 1 eno pouch
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • salt to taste
  • For stuffing:
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 capsicum chopped
  • ginger shredded
  • paneer small cubes (as per taste)
  • Pizza mix
  • tomato sauce
  • pudina chutney
  • FOR GARNISH :
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 green chilli sliced
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • coriander leaves

How to make Mixveggie stuffed idli khaman

  1. Mix all the ingredients besan, sooji, curd, turmeric powder and salt to taste, keep it for 1 hour (Note- just before pouring better in idli maker will add eno in it. So that khaman will be soft)
  2. Take oil in pan and add chopped onion, capsicum and tomato... Let it fry for 1 min. Then add 1/2 tsp red chili powder and salt to taste.. And let it cool.
  3. Now take idli maker and apply oil on it and pour one 1 tsp batter then add fried veggies, paneer, pudina chutney, shredded ginger , sprinkle pizza mix and 2-3 drops of tomato ketchup. Now add again batter over it to cover it totally (Note- you can also let it open like that only)
  4. Now take oil in pan add mustard seeds in it, let it crackle, then add sliced onions, sliced green chilli.... Add cooked idli in it and mix it well. Enjoy mix veg stuffed idli khaman #Behappy #keepsmiling and #keepcooking #engineersdesicooking

My Tip:

After adding ENO in the batter don't keep it for long time...
