Tandoori chicken

Ingredients to make Tandoori chicken

  • 3 tsp of vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp of red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp of tandoori masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 cup of hung yogurt
  • 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp of lemon juice

How to make Tandoori chicken

  1. Marinate everything together with chicken pieces and keep it aside for 6 hours.
  2. Preheat the oven for 15 mins in 200 degrees C.
  3. Place each marinated piece of chicken on tray in the oven.
  4. Let the chicken bake for 15 mins till it tender. Turn them and again let it gets done with the other side.
  5. After that put them again in the oven and roast for 15 mins in the top rack by increasing the temperature of the oven.
  6. Your nicely grilled and crispy from outside and juicy and tender from inside, tandoori chicken is ready to serve.
My Tip: Cover the tandoori chicken with a smokey charcoal with some butter in a small bowl for sometime for tandoori flavor.
