Figs and pomegranate are some of the healthiest fruits and taste amazingly refreshing too. Figs and pomegranate are laden with fiber, minerals like iron and vitamins. The natural sweetness of the fruits tastes heavenly and are two of my most liked fruits. A glass of the refreshing fresh fig pomegranate smoothie made in yogurt in the morning is pure bliss and the best part is that it can be made without any hassles.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fresh figs 6 pcs peeled and cut to small slices
  2. Pomegranate 1 big pcs peeled and deseeded
  3. Hung curd from full cream milk chilled or frozen 2 glasses
  4. Vanilla ice-cream 2 scoops
  5. Honey 3 tblsp or as per taste

Instructions

  1. Blend the pomegranate in a blender for a minute. Drain the juice in a bowl to separate the pomegranate seeds.
  2. Blend the chilled hung curd, ice cream, figs along with the pomegranate juice and honey at slow speed in a blender to get a fluffy and well blended smoothie.
  3. Serve chilled in glasses garnished with small pieces of fresh figs.
