Ingredients to make Eggless Chocolate mud cake

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 teaspoon coffee powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • For chocolate ganache:
  • 2 cups of chopped dark chocolate
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp coffee powder

How to make Eggless Chocolate mud cake

  1. Boil milk, add curd to it.
  2. Let the milk curdle. Switch off the gas
  3. Sieve flour, baking powder, coffee powder and cocoa powder.
  4. Beat oil and sugar untill creamy.
  5. Add curdle milk to it.
  6. Add sieved flour, baking powder and cocoa powder
  7. Add essence. Pour this mixture in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake at 160 degrees celsius for 35 to 40 minutes.
  9. Cool for 1/2 hour and then slice the cake for icing.
  10. Apply the ganache on the cake and decorate it with chocolate swirls.
  11. Method for chocolate ganache:
  12. Cook the chocolate, heavy cream and instant coffee in the top of a double boiler over simmering water until smooth and warm, stirring occasionally
  13. Bring the ganache to the room temperature.
  14. Keep it in fridge over night
  15. Apply the thickened ganache over chocolate cake and decorate it with chocolate swirls.
