Eggless cake with flavor of beetle leaf (pan) using curd

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour 2 1/2 cups
  2. Powder sugar 3/4 cup
  3. Oil 1/2 cup
  4. 1 tsp semolina (sooji)
  5. 1 tsp rose essence
  6. Gulkand 2 tsp
  7. 2 pan/ beetle leaf
  8. Milk 3/4 cup
  9. Curd 3/4 cup
  10. Baking powder 1 1/4 tsp
  11. Baking soda 1/4 tsp
  12. Paan masala 2 tsp
  13. Paan masala you can buy from panwala
  14. 1 tbsp tooty fruity

Instructions

  1. Sieve all the dry ingredients all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda 2 times.
  2. In another bowl take curd and whisk
  3. Add powder sugar mix it
  4. Add oil
  5. Add rose essence
  6. Grind pan with milk
  7. Add this to curd mixture
  8. Add gulkand
  9. Again mix properly
  10. Add dry ingredients to curd mixture
  11. Now mix with spatula
  12. Mix gently upside down
  13. Add tooty fruity
  14. Pour this batter in greased heart shaped pan
  15. Keep for baking in 180 degrees for 30 minutes preheated oven
  16. Temperature varies from oven to oven so keep eye on it
  17. When done, remove from oven. Slice when cools down and enjoy
