Ingredients to make CUCUMBER MORE KUZHAMBU

  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Cucumber 1 cup chopped
  • Salt- to taste
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red chilli 1 number
  • Curry leaves few
  • Oil 1 teaspoon
  • GRIND TOGETHER-
  • Grated coconut 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • Green chillies 4 numbers
  • Ginger 1 inch piece
  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Roasted channa dal 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

How to make CUCUMBER MORE KUZHAMBU

  1. Whisk the curd well, then dilute it with 1 cup water .
  2. Dice the cucumber along with the skin into cubes. Pressure cook them for 2 whistles. Drain the water .
  3. Grind the ingredients given for grinding to a paste.
  4. In a vessel add the diluted curd, ground paste and salt mix everything well.
  5. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves, now pour the curd mixture and finally add the cooked cucumbers to it. Bring it to a boil .
  6. Serve hot with rice
