Marble cake (Eggless)

Ingredients to make Marble cake (Eggless)

  • 200 gm condensed milk
  • 150 gram whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3 tablespoon milk, if needed
  • 30 gram melted Chocolate
  • 75 gram curd
  • 50 gram butter, at room temperature

How to make Marble cake (Eggless)

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  2. Grease a 7 inch cake tin.
  3. Sieve the whole wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda at least 3 times.
  4. In a bowl, whisk the condensed milk and butter to fluffy.
  5. Add in the curd. Whisk till it mixes in.
  6. Add in the vanilla essence
  7. Put in the sieved flour mix and whisk with balloon whisk till it all comes together.
  8. Add in milk if needed
  9. To get marble effect, divide the batter in two.
  10. To one part add the melted chocolate and 1 tablespoons sugar.
  11. Pour the two batters alternately in two batches.
  12. Using a toothpick, make design.
  13. Pour into the tin and bake for 25 to 30 minutes till done.

My Tip:

Add in lightly dusted choco chips to the batter.
