  • Brinjal 1 (big)
  • curd 1 cup
  • onion chopped 1 (big)
  • green chillies chopped 2
  • coriander leaves finely chopped for garnish.

How to make Three Ingredient Bengan (brinjal) Bharta.( 1970's recepie)

  1. Just grease brinjal and roast on open flame on stove top.
  2. Roast brown from all sides. Let it cool.
  3. Peel and mash.
  4. Now add chopped onion and curd. Add chopped green chillies.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.

My Tip:

Be careful while roasting Brinjal as we are not sautéing it. So it should not burn and taste bitter.
