Instant jalebi

Ingredients to make Instant jalebi

  • 1 cup - maida
  • 3/4 cup - curd
  • 1 tsp - heaped baking powder
  • 1 cup - sugar
  • 3/4 cup - water
  • 1/2 tsp - green cardamom powder
  • Ghee for frying
  • 1 pinch - orange food color

How to make Instant jalebi

  1. Sieve maida and add baking powder to it. Keep aside.
  2. Make sugar syrup with water for one string .
  3. To the maida, add the cardamom powder, the curd and orange food coloring then mix well. Make a thick batter.
  4. Fill a piping bag with the batter.
  5. Now heat ghee in a flat kadhai.
  6. Make the shape of jalebi in the ghee. Fry both sides till it becomes light golden.
  7. Dip in sugar syrup for 3 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
