ABOUT Khurkure Bhindi RECIPE

Lady's finger is also called as okra and it is one of the dish which is liked by children. I personally like this dish when served it with hot dal chawal.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Lady fingers (bhindi) : 10
  2. Oil to deep fry
  3. Ground nuts: 1/2 cup
  4. Karipatha: 1/2 cup
  5. Rice flour 2 tablespoons
  6. Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Dry mango powder (amchur) 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the lady fingers in round shape.
  2. Put the bhindi in a bowl, add salt, rice flour, red chilli powder, chaat masala, amchur and cumin powder and mix well and keep for 5 minutes
  3. Meanwhile heat the oil in the pan and saute the ground nuts and karipatha and keep aside.
  4. Drop the bhindi slices into the hot oil and deep fry on medium heat till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Mix the groundnuts and karipatha in that bowl and it is ready to be served
