Sooji Ka Halwa

Ingredients to make Sooji Ka Halwa

  • 1 cup semolina (rava/ sooji)
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 2 1/2 cup milk
  • 5-6 saffron strands
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cashew nuts for garnishing (chopped)

How to make Sooji Ka Halwa

  1. Heat ghee in a pan. Add semolina and roast on low flame till fragrant
  2. Heat milk in another pan
  3. Add milk saffron and cardamom powder to semolina. Mix it well
  4. Add sugar, mix it and cover for 3-4 minutes and cook till melt
  5. Switch off the flame, add cashew nuts and mix well.
  6. Serve hot garnish with cashew nuts.

My Tip:

You can also add any other nuts.
